This was the seed that triggered the development of the G-48 and G-48W. After 25 years of working on my own reeds, I no longer use my reed knife. The Reserve Classic has warmth, projection and excellent response -right out of the box. exhaustive research on materials, colours and tolerance of the reeds, the G-48 and G-48W were conceived, and they captured the spirit of Gregoire’s ideas in every way. The G-48 has a powerful and intense sound that's combined with a unique dark blue cover plate. The special plating is beautiful, but is also very durable. This plating material is renowned for its long-lasting qualities. This is a 12-hole Chromatic Harmonica in the key of C.

Harmonicas are sold for Profesional musicians, for amateurs and even for beginners, in diatonic or chromatic, the highest-quality brands such as Hohner, Suzuki, and Lee Oskar, in cheaper brands of good quality, like Swan.
To get started, it's best to purchase a harmonica best suited to the type of music you prefer. In general, we can choose the Diatonic for fans of the following music: Blues, Folk, Country, Ethnic ... and Chromatic for the fans of Classic, Jazz, Variety, Pop ... We can also use the tremolo harmonica or double rows for accompanying folk music.
The Diatonic is a harmonica that can reach all the chromatic notes, which allows it to be used in playing many different genres including Jazz. To choose a diatonic harmonica, you must consider the following points: the water resistance of the instrument, whether it is provided with tightening screws, and whether it features a plastic base. With brands such as Lee oskar and Suzuki, you will be able to find your preference. You can also choose a metal base and wood as with Hohner and Suzuki. The prices are higher, but provide perfect quality.
For the Chromatics, it will be better to focus on harmonicas with 12 holes instead of 10, which are more limited - the 14 or 16 holes bring a length that adds difficulty.
