Straps and Harnesses

From the most basic to the most sophisticated, straps and harnesses are an essential accessory, ensuring the player’s comfort and support. Selmer, Vandoren, Rico-D’Addario and BG have some of the best straps on the market, amongst others, which you can find in our catalogue.

Vandoren probably makes one the most sophisticated harnesses, which offers exceptional freedom of movement and comfort. Its hand-made shoulder straps distribute the instrument's weight evenly on your shoulders so your neck stays free and protected. It is also easily adjustable thanks to its stable and practical hook mechanism, while the two back straps, both of them adjustable on their own, follow the body's movements and provide the player with extra support. Finally, its belt will balance the weight of your instrument, making it feel weightless.

Saxholder’s harness offers the best value for money. More affordable than Vandoren’s harness, it has very similar features, although Vandoren’s quality remains exceptional.

If you’re looking for something simpler, Ricco-D'Addario, Selmer and BG make excellent straps, which might be good enough for most beginners and advancing players to feel comfortable.
