Vandoren 5JB Mouthpiece for Bb Clarinet, Traditional Beak Angle

Vandoren mouthpieces are machined from solid ebonite (vulcanised rubber) and then individually hand-finished. This mouthpiece has a traditional beak - as opposed to the "Profile 88" beak which has a shallower exterior angle. Vandoren clarinet mouthpieces are the most popular upgrade mouthpiece, and will fit on virtually any Bb or A clarinet. The 5JB mouthpiece is designed for playing jazz. Tip opening is wide at 1.47mm with a long facing length.

The reed's facing is cut with extreme accuracy thanks to cutting-edge precision tools. All the manufacturing is done in a humidity controlled environment.
The cutting process ends with final shaping, and the tip is cut to exacting standards.
Vandoren recommends using the following reeds:
- Vandoren traditional 2,5 - 3 - 3,5
- Vandoren V12 3 - 3.5 - 3.5+
- Vandoren 56 rue Lepic 3 - 3.5
