The Selmer Soloist, inspired by the older Soloist model manufactured in the 1940s, was re-released in 2002. The new Soloist has all the qualities that made its older version s successful: a focused, warm and homogeneous sound that allows a lot of playability and precision, especially in the lower notes.






Selmer's Soloist is machined from ebonite, a hard rod rubber that results in exceptional stability.

The tone chamber is finished by hand. The mouthpiece is mounted on a vice allowing the highly qualified operator to manually round-off the roof, the sides and the baffle.
