The S90, released in 1988, is considered to be Selmer’s universal mouthpiece. Very focused, the S90 is suitable for students as well as professionals and features great projection and flexibility. Featuring a square chamber, it is very reliable and will suit all types of music, from classical and jazz to pop music.
Selmer's S90 is machined from ebonite, a hard rod rubber that results in exceptional stability.
The tone chamber is finished by hand. The mouthpiece is mounted on a vice allowing the highly qualified operator to manually round-off the roof, the sides and the baffle.
