Selmer Seles Prologue Mouthpiece for Alto Saxophone

The new Prologue clarinet by Selmer is part of their extended Seles range, offering high quality options for advancing players. The Prologue clarinet is enriched with the experience and ingenuity of Henri SELMER Paris through the company’s history of conception and fabrication of clarinets of quality, recognised throughout the world.  The Prologue is light and easy to play and offers the player an immediate comfort. Designed for advancing students and professionals, the Prologue’s wooden body and internal design emit that classic Selmer sound which is rich and warm. The newly designed bore shape offers ease of response and emission as well as enormous flexibility across all registers of the instrument and homogeneity of sound from top to bottom. Wether you’re preparing for a grade, playing in a band or orchestra or solo performances, the Prologue is a versatile and free blowing instrument for all occasions. The silver plated keywork has been subject to a new finishing technique that adheres an extra protective layer to it, this should help maintain the look and feel as it has added protection against oxidation and scratches. This new keywork can be maintained simply by use of a microfiber cloth, they do not recommend Silver cloths or any abrasive polishing materials. The instrument benefits from a strong adjustable thumb rest with ring, and a bell ring made of high strength elastomer. This should help offer protection against and knocks or drops that would usually damage a bell.

This mouthpiece includes a Seles Ligature and a mouthpiece cap.
