Therefore, the musician is free to choose the model which suits his purpose in terms of best playing position, easiest sound projection, greatest playing comfort, and the most controllable and precise articulation. The reed's facing is cut with extreme accuracy thanks to cutting-edge precision tools. All the manufacturing is done in a humidity controlled environment.
The cutting process ends with final shaping, and the tip is cut to exacting standards.
Vandoren recommends using the following reeds:
- Vandoren Traditional 2,5 - 3 - 3,5
- Vandoren V12 3 - 3.5 - 3.5+
- Vandoren 56 rue Lepic 3 - 3.5 - 3.5+
