The Thunderbird is the latest model in the Marine Band line. Strong> This diatonic harmonica which features the laminated bamboo bed (patent pending) from the Crossover series, strong> is tuned an octave below standard models.
Developed with Joe Filisko, reputed world-wide to be a "customiser" of instruments strong>, the Thunderbird has been designed with a tapered ergonomic cover, avoiding the clashing of the reeds, especially in first octave. A new profiling gives them a clear and consistent response.
The box spring teeth and plate edges have been rounded for improved comfort whilst playing strong>. This new instrument, which pays tribute to both Little Walter Jacobs and Kim Wilson of the "Fabulous Thunderbirds", strong> is fully compatible with the Marine Band Crossover and the Marine Band Deluxe.
