Saxmute will make your saxophone sound as quiet as a moderate conversation.
Plastic sax mutes have been well known for years. The idea of a small enclosure with sound absorbing material has well proved its efficiency. But known plastic mutes have serious issues with intonation, especially challenging in low register. Another issue is too constrained space for player's hands. That's why we developed this new sax mute for players, who want to practice easily and naturally over the whole saxophone range. We gave more space inside — for air to flow more easily, and experimented a lot with hand holes to make them comfortable for players with various physiques.

A mute with an ingenious mechanism
The ‘Saxmute’ mute for soprano saxophone consists of 3 elements that fit respectively at the mouthpiece, the neck and the bell.
Once installed, it will decrease the sound power by at least 50%. Even if this decrease creates a slight restraint in the air pressure, it will not hinder the emission and preserves the accuracy and homogeneity of sounds across the range.
